Why use this Word to PDF?

Your CV or assignment should look exactly as you designed it. A PDF locks the layout so nothing moves around on the reader’s device.

For offices & businesses

Send letters, quotes, invoices and contracts as PDFs that look the same on every phone and computer.

For students

Turn assignments, project reports and dissertations into PDFs for school portals and lecturers.

For job applicants

Most employers ask for CVs as PDF. Convert yours so the formatting never changes on their screen.

Frequently asked questions

Will my PDF look exactly like my Word document?

Text, headings, bold and italic, colours, bullet and numbered lists, tables, pictures, headers, footers and page numbers are kept. Fonts such as Calibri, Cambria, Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New are matched with look-alike fonts of the same size, so lines break in the same places. Very complex layouts (text boxes, charts, SmartArt, WordArt) may look different. For those, use Word’s own “Save as PDF”.

Can I convert old .doc files?

This tool reads modern Word files (.docx). If you have an old .doc file, open it in Word or WPS Office, choose Save As → Word Document (.docx), then convert it here.

Can I convert many files at once?

Yes. Add as many Word files as you like. You can download each PDF separately or everything as one ZIP.

Why does my text look slightly different?

Your computer’s fonts are not available inside the browser, so we use look-alike fonts. They have the same width as the originals, so pages and line breaks stay almost identical.

Is the text in the PDF selectable and searchable?

Yes. The PDF contains real text, not pictures of text, so you can search, copy and use screen readers on it. Links stay clickable.

Is Word to PDF really free to use?

Yes. It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.

Is my file safe?

Yes. This tool works entirely inside your browser, so your file is never uploaded to our servers. It is cleared from memory when you close or refresh the page.

Do I need to install any software?

No. EduJobs Toolkit works in any modern browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Nothing to download or install.
