Can I turn a photo of a page into an editable Word document?
Yes. Choose “Word document”. The words are read from the photos and placed in a .docx you can edit. Clear, straight, well-lit photos give the best result. Handwriting is not read well.
What is the difference between a PDF and a searchable PDF?
A normal scanned PDF is only pictures. A searchable PDF looks the same but has hidden text on top, so you can search and copy words.
How do I get a clean, white background?
Choose “Magic colour” or “Black & white”. They remove shadows and lighten the paper while keeping the writing sharp.
Does the camera work on my phone and computer?
Yes, in a modern browser. Allow camera access when asked. If the camera is blocked, use “Upload photos” or “Phone camera app”.
How many pages can I scan?
Up to 60 pages in one go. Very large batches may be slow on older phones.
