Frequently asked questions
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Choose “Image” and upload a PNG or JPG. A PNG with a transparent background looks best.
How do I put the watermark diagonally?
Use the angle slider, or tap the “Diagonal” shortcut. A text mark is often set to 45 degrees.
Can the watermark repeat over the whole page?
Yes. Turn on “Repeat across the page” and set the spacing between marks.
Can I put it behind the text?
Yes. Choose “Behind the page content”. Note that very large scanned pages will cover it, since a scan is one big picture.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Choose odd, even, first page only, or type a range like 1-3, 5.
Does it work with letters like é, ọ or ṣ?
Basic Latin letters, numbers and common accents work. For other scripts or special letters, use an image watermark.
