Frequently asked questions
How is the Post-UTME aggregate calculated?
It depends on the school. A common way is to take half of the total from your JAMB score (your score divided by 8) and half from your Post-UTME score (your score divided by 2, when it is out of 100), giving a total of 100. Some schools also add points for O-level grades.
Which formula does my school use?
Each university publishes its own screening formula in its admission notice. Use that, and set the weights here to match.
How are O-level grades scored here?
Using a common points scale for your best five subjects: A1 = 6, B2 = 5, B3 = 4, C4 = 3, C5 = 2, C6 = 1, and lower grades = 0. The total is scaled to the O-level weight. Your school may use a different scale.
Is this an official result?
No. It is an estimate to help you plan. Only the school’s admission list is official.
