Frequently asked questions

Which image types can I use?

JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF. Most phone photos work. HEIC photos from some iPhones depend on your browser. If one fails, share it as JPG from your phone first.

Will my photos lose quality?

With “Original quality” your JPG files are placed in the PDF as they are, with no extra compression. If the PDF is too big for an upload form, choose High, Medium or Low quality to shrink it.

Can I make every page A4?

Yes. Choose A4 as the page size. The picture is fitted inside the page with the margin you choose. “Fit to image” makes each page the same size as its picture.

How do I change the order?

Drag a picture by the grip on its left, or use the arrow buttons. The first picture becomes page 1.

My photo is sideways. What do I do?

Phone photos with a rotation tag are turned the right way automatically. If one is still sideways, tap the rotate button on it.

Is there a limit?

You can add up to 200 images at once. Large photos use a lot of memory, so if your phone slows down, do it in smaller batches or choose a lower quality.

Is JPG to PDF really free to use?

Yes. It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.

Is my file safe?

Yes. This tool works entirely inside your browser, so your file is never uploaded to our servers. It is cleared from memory when you close or refresh the page.
