Corrections Policy

Our commitment to accuracy and transparency when errors occur.

At EduJobs Africa, we strive for 100% accuracy in every scholarship update and job listing we publish. However, in the fast-paced world of digital information, errors occasionally occur. When they do, we believe in taking full responsibility and correcting the record promptly and transparently.

1. Our Protocol for Errors

Once a potential error is brought to our attention, our editorial team immediately verifies the information against official sources (university websites, government portals, or official recruiters). If an error is confirmed, we follow these steps:

  • Correction: We update the article with the correct information immediately.
  • Transparency Note: We add a “Correction Note” at the bottom of the article, detailing what was changed and the date the correction was made.
  • Social Media: If the incorrect information was shared on our WhatsApp, Telegram, or Facebook channels, we issue a corrected post or a clarification in those communities.

2. Types of Updates

We distinguish between a “Correction” and an “Update”:

  • Correction: Fixes an error that was present at the time of publication (e.g., a misspelled university name or a wrong deadline).
  • Update: Adds new information that became available after publication (e.g., a scholarship deadline being extended by the provider).

3. How to Report an Error

We welcome and encourage our community to help us maintain the integrity of our data. If you find a mistake, please reach out to us:
