Ethics Policy
The moral framework that guides every post on EduJobs Africa.
At EduJobs Africa, our mission is to empower African students and professionals by providing access to genuine opportunities. To achieve this, we hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards of journalism and digital publishing.
1. Transparency and Disclosure
Transparency is the foundation of trust. We commit to the following:
- Conflict of Interest: We will disclose any financial relationship between EduJobs Africa and any institution or recruiter mentioned in our articles.
- Sponsored Content: If we are ever paid to feature an opportunity, it will be clearly and prominently labeled as “Sponsored.” Our readers will never be misled into thinking an advertisement is an unbiased editorial recommendation.
2. Anti-Bribery and Independence
EduJobs Africa maintains absolute independence from the organizations we cover. We do not accept gifts, money, or favors in exchange for publishing an opportunity or “fast-tracking” a user’s application. We have no “backdoor” connections to scholarship boards.
3. Verification of Opportunities
It is unethical to publish unverified information that could lead our readers into financial or personal harm. We commit to vetting every job and scholarship for “red flags” (such as application fees or unverified domains) before they reach our audience.
4. Respect and Inclusion
We believe that opportunities should be accessible to all, regardless of gender, religion, or background. We prioritize opportunities that promote diversity and inclusion across the African continent.
Report Ethical Concerns: If you believe we have violated any of these principles, please contact our founder directly at musamustapha968@gmail.com.
